WOULD YOU RATHER LIVE BY THE BEACH, IN THE WOODS OR IN THE CITY?
In the woods, where it is overcast and rainy most of the year. Our dream is to retire somewhere in Oregon or Washington.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MOVIE?
Lost in Translation. I love the realistic portrayal of Japan, which is our favorite place to visit on vacation. My husband and I have traveled to Kyoto and Tokyo. Hopefully, one day we will get a chance to explore more of Japan!
WHAT BOOKS WOULD YOU RECOMMEND?
There are so many wonderful fantasy series, it’s hard to pick! A few of my favorites are Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan, Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks, Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind (although the TV show was terrible), the Cold Fire Trilogy by C.S. Friedman, the Mistborn Trilogy by Brandon Sanderson, the Riftwar Saga by Raymond E. Feist, the Belgariad by David Eddings, and the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SPORTS TEAM?
My husband and I are die-hard Sacramento Kings fans. Our annual summer vacation is 10 days in Las Vegas to watch the Kings compete in the NBA Summer League.
IF YOU WEREN’T AN ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNER/WATER QUALITY SPECIALIST, WHAT WOULD YOU BE?
I would be a personal chef. I love creating delicious, gourmet meals for family and friends.
