Creatively Managing and Protecting Cultural Resources

Under the existing agreement for As-Needed Cultural Resources Services for Citywide Engineering Programs and Projects, LSA has completed 12 task orders providing various cultural resources-related services ranging from construction monitoring, testing, and excavation to geoarchaeological surveys, constraints analyses, and archival research. These projects include the Juan Street Repavement Project, the La Jolla Shores Drive Water Main Replacement Project, Sewer Group 698, the Mission Bay Golf Course Improvements Project, the Torrey Pines Road Improvements Project, the Villa Montezuma Project, the Sherman Heights Block 8F Streetlight Project, the Grand Avenue Group F Sidewalks Project, the Otay Pipeline Phase II Project, the Sunset Cliffs Underground Utilities Install Project, the Del Cerro Block 7CC Streetlight Project, and the Mission Hills Block 2E Streetlight Project. Nearly all projects presented opportunities for LSA to creatively manage and protect cultural resources.
