New 13-mile Freeway Bypass
Route 65 Lincoln Bypass | Placer County, CA
LSA provided biological resources, permitting, and construction monitoring support to Caltrans for of a new 13-mile freeway bypass project in western Placer County. The project area includes extensive oak woodlands and vernal pool grassland habitats supporting several federal- or State-listed species. LSA conducted detailed habitat mapping, focused surveys for special-status species, and wetland delineations. LSA also was the lead for regulatory permitting and endangered species take authorization.
