Providing Environmental Expertise for a Replacement Hospital

LSA prepared an Environmental Assessment/Finding of No Significant Impact (EA/FONSI) for construction of a replacement hospital at the City of Hope Campus. The EA/FONSI was prepared consistent with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) guidelines. Construction of a replacement hospital is necessary to address damage sustained by the Northridge earthquake and State seismic requirements. Key issues addressed in the EA/FONSI included the significance of an on-site historic structure to be demolished and visual impacts to adjacent neighborhoods.
